  1. I understand that the Ford 427, 428 and 429 were different designs, but it is weird to have all three of those engines so close in displacement from one company.

  2. I believe a good engine for any Ford of this era was the FE High output 390 cubic inch. Of course not for the Shelby. Had a 67 Galaxie four door post with the regular 390. Was pretty fast for stock and it could tow a boar. Lol.

  3. Friend of a friend had a nice 67 GT 500 in 1972. Yep, mild 428 with dual quads bolted on top. I imagine the 68s got the Cobra Jet, that would have been quicker.

  4. This thing rips! A lot of the old muscle cars on this channel can only pull a little squeal of the tyres & tend to remind you that the memories might often be better than the cars really were. Not this thing! That 427 race motor clearly makes this thing the real deal.
