Pixillation
It is very interesting technique, were actors are shot frame by frame. The actors move slightly for each frame and their motion can be combined with animated objects or even puppets. This stop motion technique gives the possibility to use many tricks during filming and result in curious animations.
A very famous pixilation film is “the Neighbors” by Norman Mac Laren who shot the actors frame by frame together with objects and an animated clay flower.
