OBJECTIVE
The objective of the competition is the production of an art creation which must be developed in collaboration (at distance) between two students of different nationalities. Every student will work in a pair with another student from a different country on the development of a common art creation which can be drawing (including technical drawing); painting; design; digital painting; animation etc.
PRIZES
The winning couple of the Lov'Art competition will be offered a study grant (equivalent to 5.000 euros) to enable them to follow a three year BA (Honours) course at Cumbria Institute of the Arts, in England.

The winning couple will also be invited to the final conference of the ArtNet project which will take place in November, 2005 in Florence, where they will have the opportunity to meet each other and jointly present their winning artwork.
EVALUATION
All the art works received will be published under a specific section in the art gallery. A judging panel made up of art experts in different European countries will evaluate the art creations. The art creations will be evaluated using the following criteria (in order of importance):
Evidence of working as a team: Motivation; Problem-solving; Coordination and Organisation; Final presentation of the artwork
Aesthetic skills and Imaginative concepts: Starting idea; Elaboration of chosen idea
Artistic skills: Creativity; Technical and Compositional skills; Sylistic and poetic motivation; Expressiveness.
TO PARTICIPATE
To participate it is necessary to fill in the
participation form (one form for each participant). Participants will then be provided with the names and contact details of their partners.
There are 2 deadlines for entering the Lov'Art competition:
- The first deadline for sending Lov'Art entry forms is 30th June 2004.
Participants will be informed of their partners in July 2004.
- The first deadline for sending Lov'Art entry forms is 30th November 2004.
Participants will be informed of their partners in December 2004.
The deadline for sending all artistic creations is June 2005.
